About

Thank you for visiting my site.  I’m happy you’ve taken the time to get to know me.  When I became a licensed Realtor here in Nevada, I wrote down a list of what I think are the most important attributes a good real estate agent should possess. These are a range of key characteristics and skills that help me effectively represent my clients and achieve successful outcomes. Here are my top selling points:

  1. Excellent communication skills: I’m an effective communicator who can listen to my clients’ needs, explain complex concepts in simple terms, and keep them informed throughout the buying or selling process.
  2. Market knowledge: I have a deep understanding of the local real estate market, including trends, pricing, and inventory. I can use this knowledge to advise clients on the best strategies for buying or selling a property.
  3. Strong negotiation skills: I am a skilled negotiator who can represent my clients’ interests and help them achieve the best possible outcome in a transaction.
  4. Pricing guidance: I can help you determine the appropriate price for your home based on market conditions and comparable properties in the area.

Overall, a I’m knowledgeable, skilled, and dedicated to providing the highest level of service to my clients. When choosing a real estate agent, it’s important to look for someone who possesses these key characteristics and who you feel comfortable working with.

I am a native Pennsylvanian, growing up a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, which continues to this day.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University, and promptly went to work for the largest bank in Pennsylvania, first as a Retail Loan Officer, then as a Branch Manager overseeing two separate locations.  From there, I went back to school at Penn State, receiving my Master of Business Administration.

After Graduate School I began work with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a department of the U.S. Treasury Department, tasked with the responsibility of examining National Banks, assessing management capabilities and overall financial soundness.  After my time at the OCC, I was a Director of a financial services consulting firm in Virginia.

After 25 years in the banking business, living in 13 cities, including Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Orlando, and Chicago, my wife Nancy and I decided to chuck the corporate lifestyle.  We sold our house, sold everything in it, and bought a motorhome to travel and see the country.  In our travels over the next 8 months, we experienced so much, from the Black Hills and Prairie Dogs of the Dakotas to the White Sands of New Mexico and the Craters of the Moon in Idaho, to seeing the sky fill with swarms of monarch butterflies in West Texas.  Once we arrived in Las Vegas, for the first time in our lives, we chose where we lived.  Eight states and eight houses later, this is where we call home.

I spend my free time with my wife Nancy and our little terror of a dog, Sonny.  We share a love of TV cooking competitions, and I developed an interest in baking during the Pandemic, who didn’t?  I like to read, watch crime shoes, and am a militant gym rat, doing weight cross-training 3-4 times per week.  To cool down, I do yoga and meditate.

I am thrilled to work with you.  Feel free to contact me and I look forward to working with you.  Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Nevada, license number S.0188030.  Patrick Snyder, B.S., M.B.A., Realtor.  ERA Brokers Consolidated.  2855 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson, NV  89052.  Cell # 312-898-7018.  Email: patrick@vegaspropertygeek.com.  Website: www.vegaspropertygeek.com.

Looking for a Real Estate Agent who puts you first?

If you’re planning to buy or sell a home, you want the process to go successfully. If you’re selling, success means getting your property sold quickly and for the highest price possible. If you’re buying, it means finding your next dream home and getting into it, affordably. On top of that, if you’re like most of my satisfied customers, you also want everything to go smoothly, with as little stress as possible.

How can you ensure all that happens? By working with a real estate agent who truly puts you first.

I’m proud to be the real estate agent of choice for those who want a great experience buying or selling a home. My “clients-first” approach means that you’ll be working with a professional who listens to you, provides expert advice, and works hard on your behalf.

The Expert by Your Side

When you’re selling: My track record of success means I know how to showcase your house effectively, market and promote it so that it attracts qualified buyers and get it SOLD for the highest price. Throughout the process, I’m with you every step of the way, making sure your questions are answered, all the details are handled expertly, and the entire experience is a positive one.

When you’re buying: My expertise in the local market means I can introduce you to homes that meet your criteria – and notify you immediately of brand new listings. I can advise you on what to look for when viewing a home, so you don’t make a catastrophic mistake, and I can arm you with in-depth details on every property you see. When you find a home you fall in love with, I know how to negotiate effectively so you get that property, at the best possible price. In fact, nothing pleases me more than saying, “The home is yours.”

The Right Real Estate Agent for You

Whether you’re buying or selling, it’s ultimately about realizing a dream. I understand how much the decision will mean to you. In fact, that’s one of the reasons I became a real estate agent – to help people buy or sell a home, while making the process easy and trouble-free. Clients often tell me how much they appreciate my expertise, my willingness to be there with them every step of the way, and my determination to get them the best deal. They also tell me I’m friendly and a pleasure to work with – which is quite a compliment!
